00 / Decision Tree Maker
Map out a decision as a tree.
Lay out the choice at the root, the real options as branches, and what each one leads to underneath. Drag to reorganize as you think it through, and export the finished tree as text.
Free to start. No sign-up required.
01 / Worth Knowing
A decision tree is one thing this canvas can do.
Meceify's canvas is really built for structuring problems, not just mapping choices: most people using it are building issue trees to break a problem into its parts, which is a different (and, for most real decisions, more useful) job than laying out a choice and its outcomes. If you're not sure which one your problem needs, see Issue Tree vs. Decision Tree. Either way, the same canvas builds it -- see the issue tree builder if that's the one you need.
02 / What You Get
Drag to reorganize
Move a branch onto another node and its whole subtree follows -- restructure as your thinking changes.
Flag open questions
Mark a branch you haven't resolved yet, right on the tree.
Export as text
Turn the finished tree into a clean outline you can paste anywhere.

FAQ
Is Meceify a decision tree maker?
You can build decision trees with it: lay out a choice, its options, and their consequences as branches. But that's one thing the canvas can do, not the whole point -- Meceify is really a structured-thinking tool, and most people using it are building issue trees (breaking a problem into its parts) rather than decision trees (mapping a choice and its outcomes).
What's the difference between a decision tree and an issue tree?
A decision tree maps a specific choice and its possible outcomes. An issue tree breaks an open-ended problem into the questions that explain it. See Issue Tree vs. Decision Tree for the full comparison -- they look similar but do different jobs.
Is it free?
